Fresh Pho U in Barrie

Taste is good, not the best but pretty good. Price is higher than average and store is small but overall enjoyed the food

The food is fantastic, really quick and fresh. The staff are very friendly and helpful. In the summer they do this great thing where at the end of your meal they bring a peice of watermelon. It is the perfect way to end a great meal.

It was probably the best pho I've had. Nice environment and reasonable prices.

The drinks and selection are impeccable. Can't say the food was particularly better than other Pho restaurants in Barrie, hence it's slightly cheaper to eat here compared to the others. The ingredients they use are quite fresh but sadly a bit tasteless. Through no fault of the restaurant, the hipster crowd it attracts is unfortunately facilitated an unenjoyable dining experience.Clean interior and very clean washrooms.

Often get lunch here, this place is highly recommended! My Favourite items are the Pho, the Tom Yum soup, the veggie crispy rolls, the fresh rolls, the Pad Thai and the Stir Fried noodle. Portions are amazing, always hot and fresh and super tasty!

Currently my absolute favourite place to crush a bowl of Pho!!!I could eat here everyday! Try the special Pho and enjoy!

Great Pho and Cha Gio. Served Congee but expensive for such a small bowl and no white pepper to go with it. Free tea and fast services. Since I live less than 5 minutes I do take out a lot. Minor complains too much packaging bad for the environment.

A family run place with the portions being large, the prices more than reasonably set, fantastic flavours and good staff. Menu style is you write the letter and number ex: P2 chicken (usually options of protein or veg) for your meal order yourself and just wait from there.

Absolutely love this place. All time favourite place. Highly recommend to all family and friends!I go all of the time to this place for a comforting setting and comfort food. The staff are quick to get your food to your table and super friendly. This place you can spend easily 30min, if you need to get in or out or easily over 1hr+ if you want a calming, friendly environment.

This is our go-to place for Pho.... and everything else on their menu. We especially love their wings, spring rolls, and beef Pho! Quick and consistent service and quality.

Such a good experience! Food was Delicious. We ordered Noodle Soup, fried noodles with tiger shrimp and seafood. Also, we were offered a green tea before we ordered. And the service was swift despites the business of the place.. Las thing but very important to me : The restroom was clean. Would definitely come back

I've been a few times and it's pretty good! The pad thai is super good. I've had the vegetable pho and I found it a bit bland, however my partner always gets the beef pho and claims it's awesome. The wait staff are good and the wait times are short.Update: I had the seafood egg noodle soup and it was better than the veggie pho.

Me and my mom always come by for lunch after my appointments every week. no matter how sad or mad or stressed I am, as soon as I walk in I feel instantly better. Amazing pho, amazing atmosphere, amazing service. Hands down my favourite restaurant :)

Real good pho spot. Restaurant is small but nice. So you could be waiting for a table. Rare beef pho was very tasty. Nice skinny noodle. Reasonable price aswell.. Definitely worth a visit.

Very consistent fresh tasty vietnamese dishes. Fast and friendly service. Highly recommend! Try the Pad Thai or the Phò and the chicken wings in fish sauce are excellent.

Bun bo hue is the best at this restaurant! Very authentic Vietnamese food!

Pad thai is ok. the noodles were so overcooked in both pad thai and pho soup. Pad thai was too watery too

Staff were lovely, polite. Fish sauce chicken wings, summer rolls, cha gio, pork & vermicelli, ere all amazing. You must have the Vietnamese Iced Coffee- it’s the best coffee.

In a plaza where everything else was empty of patrons this place was full. But the staff are amazing and quick and efficient so there was little to no wait. The food was as good as we have had in all the places we have tried in the Greater Toronto Area. We had 9 people on our group and we tried a tonne of different types of dishes. The staff were very attentive to our needs as well. Enjoy you meal we sure did.

Great 'pho' is all about the broth and fresh ingredients, and Pho U did it well! Great prices, HUGE bowls (the 'small' was perfect for lunch - pictured here - even took some leftovers home). Very nice staff, efficient, clean place, good food in Barrie. Small place, expect a bit of a worthwhile wait.

Delicious! I had a small bowl of Chicken Pho and it was fantastic, and still huge! They give you free green tea which is nice. Value is great, under $10! It was busy when I got there but we didn't wait long for food. It smelled delicious in the restaurant, with good reason! Would highly recommend.

Not to muck meat in the pho soup. Should be more otherwise your paying for noodles and broth. XL soup only 4 beef balls and 4 slices of meat.

Nice clean place. prices are good for the size and portion. spring rolls was 4.5 but are not very big. We had spring rolls and Pho. I am not into the sweet pho broth most places have up in Barrie but this one is one of the best ones so far.

Pretty good place, just went for my first time today and I have to say the soup was delicious and affordable, especially considering how massive those bowls are! The wontons in the soup were a bit meh but the broth was incredibly tasty!

Very strong - arguably the best in town. Ordered the wings, summer rolls, spring rolls, and spicy vermicelli soup. All 100% delicious. Looking forward to trying more things. Viet coffee is a nice way to finish the meal, too.
